Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy
Terms and Conditions
General Information
By using the services of Prime Focus Educational Services (PFES), you agree to comply with these terms and conditions, including all related policies and guidelines. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Service Availability
PFES offers personalized tutoring services in languages, school subjects, music, IT, and more, both online and in-person. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.
Registration and Payment
To begin the tutoring services, clients must complete the registration process and make the necessary payments as outlined in the agreed terms. Payments can be made via the methods provided on our website.
Tutor Assignments
PFES will match students with qualified tutors based on the learner’s needs, preferences, and availability. Clients can request specific tutors, but PFES reserves the right to make final tutor assignments.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information for registration and communication. It is also the client’s responsibility to ensure that the tutor has the proper access to the student’s location or online platforms for lessons.
Session Cancellation and Rescheduling
Clients must notify PFES or the assigned tutor at least 24 hours in advance if they need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Failure to do so may result in the full charge for the session. Cancellations or rescheduling within the 24-hour notice period will be subject to approval and availability.
Confidentiality
All information shared between PFES, clients, and tutors will remain confidential and used solely for educational purposes. Any data shared will not be sold or shared with third parties without prior consent.
Code of Conduct
Both students and tutors are expected to maintain professional behavior during sessions. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or offensive may lead to immediate termination of services, at the discretion of PFES.
Liability
PFES is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other incidents that may occur during in-person tutoring sessions. Clients are responsible for the safety and well-being of the student during the session.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
At PFES, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality educational services. If any client is dissatisfied with our offerings, we will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis and provide a resolution, which may include a partial refund, rescheduling, or the issuance of a credit note.
1. Discontinuation of Classes
If the learner wishes to discontinue classes, they are entitled to a refund for any remaining, unused hours, provided the request is made within 2 weeks of the booking date and the original payment receipt is presented as proof of payment. After this 2-week period, no refunds will be issued.
2. Cancellation After 2 Weeks
Should the learner wish to cancel their enrollment after the initial 2 weeks of booking, they will not be eligible for a refund. Instead, a credit note will be issued, which can be used towards any future course offered by Prime Focus Educational Services.
3. Failure to Attend Classes
If a learner fails to attend classes for a continuous period of 3 months without prior notification, the contract will automatically be terminated, and no refund will be issued.
4. Promotions and Discounted Rates
No refunds will be issued for courses booked under promotion or discounted rates. Any cancellation under these circumstances will be subject to the credit note policy.
5. Refund Processing Time
Refunds will be processed within 30 working days from the date of the cancellation request.
6. Books and Learning Materials
Books, learning materials, or any resources provided during the course cannot be refunded, exchanged, or returned under any circumstances.
7. Course Cancellation by PFES
In the event that Prime Focus Educational Services cancels a course or session, a 100% refund will be issued to the learner for the cancelled lessons.
Additional Terms:
1. Changes to Terms
These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to students, and the revised terms will be applicable to all new and existing bookings.
2. Force Majeure
PFES is not liable for any delays or inability to provide services resulting from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
3. Student Conduct
All students are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor during classes. PFES reserves the right to terminate the services of any student who violates this expectation.
4. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties will work together in good faith to resolve the issue. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be escalated to the appropriate legal channels under UAE law.
